Now the journey of Milk to our Complete Computerized Plant Begins. Milk is transferred to Tanks after chilling. This standardized Milk is then sent for Pasteurization. The dairy has installed State of the Art Bactofuge Separator, Which separates Spores and Bacteria from Milk. This is followed by de-aeration to remove any unfavorable odors. This enhances the keeping quality of Milk. After pasteurization, Milk is chilled and stored at 2 degree centigrade.

Stringent quality control steps are taken to test the milk before and after pasteurization. Milk from the storage tanks is tested before it is packed for various Quality parameters.

The pasteurized milk is then /packed in polyethylene pouches, a concept that was pioneered by us in the Indian Dairy sector. The crates used for Milk Pouch packing are thoroughly cleaned by specially developed Ultrasonic assisted Crate washer.

Milk is then transported to Pune in insulated vans. The total process from collection to dispatch is completed within the shortest possible time.

Our sound distribution network through “Shivasanthosh Dugdhalay” has continuously ensured punctual delivery of milk to our valued customers for over four decades.

It is the result of our efforts and such a long chain of careful planning and execution that milk is brought to the consumer day after day for years now.

At Chitales’ 80% of the milk is processed as liquid milk while 20% milk is processed for milk products such as Shrikhand of various flavors, Khova, Curd, Cream, Butter, Ghee, Milk Powder and Other Dairy Products.

After completion of every process respective pipelines, storage tanks and machinery are thoroughly cleaned by Fully Automated Cleaning in Place System. Parameters such as Temperature, Flow Rate, Cleaning Solution Strength and Duration of Cleaning are strictly monitored. Water required in the dairy undergoes various treatments such as clarification, filtration, softening, Ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis before use.

Every Equipment and Machinery employed right from collection of Raw Milk to Dispatch of Finished Products is of International Quality.

All the mechanical operations, processes in, Pasteurization Plant, C.I.P. System, and Chilling plants, Boilers etc. in the Dairy are controlled from Central Server through Logix Platform via Control net Bus system.

It is a point worth noting that, the entire production is controlled by stringent Quality Control and Food safety systems, which ensures complete hygienic conditions.
